OUR PROCESS
Coffee that stands out from the crowd always demonstrates something
singular. It resonates and captures the imagination. Much as the sea calls the
sailor, people respond to our coffee. Some might say “It’s just coffee,” but
when the coffee itself does the speaking, you know it, and it becomes yours.
What captured our imagination was harnessing a wild fire to evenly roast
coffee. Why? The wood makes it good. Wood is cellulose. Coffee is cellulose.
We discovered early on that igniting this relationship with a perfectly tuned
fire tapped into the coffee signal: Our roaster removed the static from the
coffee.
