We are originally from Germany with many small coffee roasters in the area. During our recent trip we discovered Summer Moon Coffee in Fort Myers and bought a package of this bean. This is definitely one of the best beans I have ever had in my life and I really really hope they start shipping to Europe soon. I am already suffering withdrawal!
I bought a bag in my local cafe and ground the beans fresh at home. You may have to tweak your brew to get the strength you like, but this is a smooth blend with no bitterness.The rich chocolate and butterscotch notes are noticeable, especially with a drop of honey. Smells amazing, tastes delicious!
Not my favorite flavor I’ve had, the smell when opening actually is a bit off-putting for me but that could quite honestly just be a personal preference on that. I love a good fire roasted bean and this one had one of the more favorable scent/flavor notes but I probably wouldn’t reorder this particular flavor. Ready to find my IT flavor here though!
This is a wonderful and very interesting tropical bean borne of volcanic soil. You will want to wake up and smell this coffee!
