From the coffee in your cup to the candle on your table, we believe in craftsmanship, community, and creating things that last. That’s why, whenever possible, we partner with local makers, small and family-owned businesses, and artisans who share our values: care in the details, pride in the process, and a belief that everyday moments can be something special.

Not every item we offer is made this way, but it’s a commitment we return to again and again. Because when something is made with intention, you can feel it.

A Closer Look: Verba Candle Co.

Founded in 2023, Verba Candle Co. began as a small creative escape during motherhood for Ekaterina Lisakova. It was sparked by a desire to build something meaningful while staying close to the process of making.

What started as a quiet corner for pouring candles soon grew into a dedicated studio, and then into a larger space in the historic district of Knoxville, Tennessee, complete with rooms for production and packaging.

At the heart of Verba is a love for the process itself: gathering materials, experimenting, and slowly shaping something beautiful by hand. That intention carries through every piece they create.

Their sculptural candles are made from soy wax, while their container candles use coconut wax. Each ingredient is chosen for a clean, high-quality burn that feels as good as it looks.
