Glowing Ember
These Guatemalan natives are known for their bright bourbon undertones, rounded fruity flavor, and subtle sweetness.
Tasting Notes: Toasted Brown Sugar, Buttery Oats
we also buy half caf, decaf and anniversary blends. all really good
Great bold flavor. A little hint of brown sugar but not enough to ruin it,
Also tastes burnt or over roasted for a medium roast, but not as bad.
This coffee is the bidness. The subtle post oak really gives these beans a special depth of flavor I never experienced in the Star$s corporate tasting room in the early 90’s. A very nice departure from the usual.
I grind these beans manually, and brew in an old Bodum French press. Labeled as Medium Roast, I find it a little darker, which suits my taste just fine. The brew is rich and aromatic, and has a full , earthy flavor as I would expect of Guatemala.
